Candace Parker Named to All-WNBA First Team

For the fifth time in her career, Candace Parker was named to the All-WNBA First Team!

The former University of Tennessee star averaged 16.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.7 blocks, good for top 11 league-wide in every category. She also recorded the sixth triple double in WNBA history. Parker led the Sparks to the second seed in the playoffs with a 26-8 record.

Following the vote at the end of the regular season, she brought LA to their second straight finals appearance.

This marks Parker’s seventh all-league award in just her 10th season. She is joined on the first team by Sylvia Fowles, Tina Charles, Skylar Diggins-Smith and Maya Moore.
