The Los Angeles Sparks closed out the Chicago Sky in dominating fashion Tuesday, winning 95-75.
The Sparks held Chicago to just 11 points in the first quarter, setting the tone for a night in which Los Angeles would get a combined 67 points from Candace Parker, Nneka Ogwumike, and Kristi Tolliver. Candace Parker led all scorers with 29 points in 36 minutes, adding 5 rebounds and 4 blocks.
With the win, the Sparks sealed their trip to their first WNBA finals since 2003. They will face Maya Moore and the vaunted Minnesota Lynx in a match-up of the WNBA’s top two teams. Action will tip-off Sunday at 12:00pm PST in Minnesota.
